Members' Event "Drink+Demo: Paper Beads"

FOR CURRENT MEMBERS ONLY

Mingle with other members while enjoying Pyramid’s gallery and studios after hours in our new “Drink+Demo” members-only event. Enjoy light fare while perusing the exhibition, then head downstairs to the classroom for a Paper Beads demonstration. Using a variety of recycled, handmade, and decorative papers, participants will learn how to make three styles of paper beads. By the end of the evening you will understand what tools and materials are needed to make paper beads and will have a lovely bracelet to take home!

About the Facilitator:
Addie Moore is an interdisciplinary artist who primarily works in mixed media, ceramic, and digital illustration. In her mixed media practice, she works with marker, paint, collage, printmaking techniques, and inks to create layered artworks that combine influences from graphic design, street art, travel, topography, and children's books. Her work does not show one particular space or time but expresses anxiety, memory, identity, time, and escapism and how they can affect perception or experiences.
