Between Two Fires
Works by Sue Carrie Drummond
July 8–August 13, 2023

Materiality is central to Drummond's work. She examines clothing as material culture, extracting tacit narratives from garments and the bodies that wear them. In Between Two Fires, her layered prints explore delicate fabrics and their ability to ensnare the viewer and the wearer.

Sue Carrie Drummond is a papermaker, printmaker, and book artist. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Art at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS.
